What else should I know about Industrial Ultrabright™ bright White LED strip lights?

1. IMPORTANT!
   You NEED to attach this strip to a heat dissipating aluminum or similar metal. This product gets hot and needs to be attached to a material that can dissipate the heat.
2. IMPORTANT!
   Installation: The contact points are located on the underside of the LED strip. Peeling away a little of the 3M adhesive will reveal them and allow access for soldering the low voltage cables directly to the strip. Once the soldering is completed, re-insulating the bottom of the strip with silicone or a thermally conductive double sided tape will help prevent a short when adhering to metal.
3. How many feet of industrial LED strips can I run?
   We recommend to run no longer than 10 feet in series. After 10 feet, you will start to see a dimming of the LEDs near the end. This is called Voltage Drop. If you need to make longer runs, run in parallel from the power unit or attach an additional power unit.
4. How long will the LED lights last?
   Our bright white LED strip lights are rated at 50,000 hours. Thats a long time. That 50,000 hour mark does not mean the LED strip lights will shut off. It means that they will reach 70% luminosity. It is important to provide adequate air flow and heat dissapation to ensure that the strips are not overheating.

6. Wow these are bright! What do I do if I want to dim my LED strip lights?
   All LED strip lights are dimmable. The LED strips can be dimmed either through our dimmers [PWM dimming] , or by a Lutron or Leviton wall dimmer To dim the lights you have two options:
   
   1. If you plan to dim your LED strips using a Lutron or Leviton wall dimmer, you need a Zurik dimmable driver. This driver itself will be dimmed from the Lutron switch.
   2. If you do not plan to dim the lights from a wall switch and want to dim them with one of our dimmers , you will need a non-dimmable LED driver. Why? The driver will not be used to dim the lights. The dimmer installed after the lights will do the dimming.
