IMPORTANT! Should this product be used in conjunction with a heat dissipating material?
Yes. You NEED
to attach this strip to a heat dissipating aluminum or similar metal. This product gets hot and needs to be attached to a material that can dissipate the heat.
IMPORTANT! How do I install these lights?
To connect strips, find the contact points that are located on the underside of the LED strip. Peeling away a half inch of 3M adhesive will reveal them and allow access for soldering the low voltage cables directly to the strip. Once the soldering is completed, re-insulating the bottom of the strip with silicone or a thermally conductive double sided tape will help prevent a short when adhering to metal.
-Our solderless connectors can be used upside down to make a connection with the contact points, but they are rated to 5 amps, so they can only be used for maximum runs of 6.75 feet when using solderless connectors.
Which Power Supply do I need for my (x) feet of LEDs?

Which wire gauge do I need?
Different setups require different wire gauges (wire thickness) for safety and performance. The current and run length will determine the exact gauge of wire needed for your project. Read here

Can I cut the strips myself?
Yes, LED strips are made to be cut to your desired length. Using sharp scissors, you can cut the strip every few inches (on a line that's marked after every third LED).
What is a 3020 SMD LED chip?
3020 SMD (Surface Mounted Diode) represents the size of the LED chips on the strip. A 3020 SMD chip measures at 3.0mm x 2.0mm. Click here

What is the importance of UL Listed?
UL is an acronym for the Underwriters Laboratories. They are an independent product safety certification organization. A good summary used by UL is, "a not-for-profit organization dedicated to public safety."
